Major case counsel OVERVIEW
In our role as Major Case Counsel (MCC), we are sensitive to the business concerns that come with defending a national client, or a national book of business, and we also bring in-court trial experience in key adverse venues throughout the Country. Our firm regularly tries cases in venues that are traditionally considered “adverse venues” or plaintiff-friendly venues including Cook and Madison counties in Illinois, and Lake County in Indiana. Our firm has over 30 verdicts in trials and major binding arbitration results since 2015. In addition to our trial experience we are also regularly consulted by self-insureds, and insurance carriers in venues across the county from California to New York.
We have a deep well of experience handling high value and high risk matters for clients for a variety of matters including death and dismemberment cases, high value construction defect claims, or unique matters of first impression. Our experience, combined with our ability to analyze data and trends allows us to make accurate predictions regarding cost of defense, chance of success at trial, and helping our clients to navigate potentially risky litigation in adverse venues.
