Chicago, Illinois – Daniel P. Costello is pleased to announce the addition of Gregory V. Ginex and James L. Wideikis as equity partners to the firm. Effective immediately the firm has changed its name to Costello Ginex & Wideikis, P.C.
Greg Ginex will lead a team dealing with high value construction cases, product liability, medical negligence, and transportation matters. He has defended numerous high exposure personal injury cases throughout Illinois and has been involved in a wide variety of litigation and trial work since his admission to the Illinois Bar. Mr. Ginex was selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers list in 2020 and 2021. In addition, Mr. Ginex was named to the 2017 class of Forty Under 40 by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
Jim Wideikis is a highly regarded legal advisor and litigator who taps his extensive trial and appellate experience to help clients prevent costly business disruptions and minimize the impact of complex commercial disputes. At his prior firm, Jim was the head of the “Biometric Information Privacy Act” (BIPA) division including handling large class action litigation. He has represented businesses, owners, executives, and directors in both federal and state courts across the country. Mr. Wideikis was selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers list in 2020 and 2021. In addition, Mr. Wideikis was named to the 2014 class of Forty Under 40 by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.

Both were superb throughout and we forged a lasting friendship. It’s not often that you get to know great lawyers who also are great people and can add to your culture, we have that with both of them”. Costello added that the firm is not done yet growing, and that they anticipate continuing to add senior attorneys to further assist client needs. “Coming off one of the most challenging years of practice with the pandemic, the future has never looked brighter for us.”
